As per recent posts, I have been using an app called NOOM.  It is a calorie counter that helps you keep track and hold yourself accountable for the foods you eat, all while not being too judgmental, nitpicky, or a hassle.  One of the drawbacks to the diet that I "suffer" is I often get a "sweet tooth" that if I give in to it, would be too many calories for the day.  Then, one day, I discovered Sabra Dark Chocolate Hummus.  This combination of a lightly salted rice cake, iced with 2 tbsp of Sabra Dark Chocolate Hummus, 1/2 a banana, and about 30 grapes was only 222 calories according to the NOOM app.  And, it satisfies the sweet tooth.  Simple, but hey, whatever works.
